Haselden was a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain from 1855-1880, a member of the Society Council from 1860-1873, and sat on the Board of Examiners from 1867-1868. Haselden was also Vice-President of the society in 1869-1871 and President from 1871-1873.
