Circular white ceramic cosmetic pot lid, with colour transfer illustration on lid known as ‘Peasant Boys’. The pot was manufactured for John Gosnell and Company. The illustration depicts two peasant boys, one standing, the other reclining. Lid inscribed ‘Murillo Pinx’ at the foot of the illustration.
