Jacob Bell, the Society’s founder, communicated the Society’s aims and current scientific discussions through The Pharmaceutical Journal.
First published in July 1841, it was circulated to each Society member monthly.
Today the Pharmaceutical Journal is still the official monthly journal of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. It provides information and analysis on the latest advances in pharmacy practice and pharmaceutical science throughout the world both in print and online.
