John Attfield 1868

John Attfield was registered with Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain 1868-1911. He was Professor of Practical Chemistry at the School of Pharmacy 1862-1896. Attfield’s ‘Introduction to Pharmaceutical Chemistry’, published in 1867, went through 19 editions during his lifetime. Attfield was appointed one of the three editors of the British Pharmacopoeia in 1885.
