Rimmel’s Toilet Vinegar c1925-1938

Glass bottle of Rimmel’s Toilet Vinegar, manufactured by E. Rimmel Limited. The preparation is promoted on the label; ‘A few drops of it poured in the water before washing will greatly refresh, soften, and whiten the complexion, removing from it all imperfections and giving it a satin-like texture’. Promoted on the label, ‘Perfumers by Appointment to Her late Majesty Queen Alexandra’, Queen Alexandra died in 1925.
