Hampson was a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain from 1864-1905, a member of the Society Council from 1872-1898 and Treasurer from 1890-1898. As a member of the Pharmaceutical Society’s Council, Hampson championed the rights of female pharmacists.
