© 2021 Royal Pharmaceutical Society

Description

Cream ceramic slipper bedpan with handle. Printed inside ‘the New Slipper Bed Pan, Regnas, London NW, Royal Winton, Made in England’. With flat base.

Bedpans like this where named ‘slipper’ due to their sloping shape. They were designed for people with limited mobility, as the shape made it easier to slide under the patient.
