Morson was a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain from 1841-1874, he was an Examiner until 1869, and a member of the Society Council 1841-1870. Morson was Vice-President of the Society from 1844-1849 and in 1859, and he was President from 1848-1849 and 1859-1861.
