Description

Vapo-Cresolene Vaporizer oil lamp and cardboard packaging. The lamp consists of a small metal kerosene lamp, wick, clear glass container for the oil, and a white glass chimney; metal Cresolene vaporizer saucer, and decorative cast metal stand for the lamp and saucer.

Used for warming Vapo-Cresolene, which would have been poured into the saucer positioned above the lamp. Used for inhalation in throat and lung diseases such as whooping cough, spasmodic croup, bronchial asthma, and for relieving nasal congestion in catarrh, influenza, and coughs.
