William Augustus Tilden 1861

Carte-de-visite portrait photograph of William Augustus Tilden. Tilden was awarded one of the first two Jacob Bell Memorial Scholarships in 1861 and later became Professor of Chemistry at the Royal College of Science. He was a Laboratory Demonstrator at the Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain School of Pharmacy from 1863 to 1872, he was a member of the society from 1868 to 1880.
